As a UN Global Compact participant, AV-Huset works continuously with the Ten Principles of responsible corporate governance in the areas human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, as well as the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Annual CoP to the UN
We are committed to submitting an annual report to the UN showing the company’s commitment to the UN Global Compact and documenting the work on the 10 principles. At the same time, the report provides valuable information to our customers and business partners.
In the past year, we have focused our efforts on Goal No. 1 (No Poverty) with the donation of AV equipment to the Human Needs Project – they have created a self-sustaining Town Center in Africa’s largest slum area Kibera and Goal No. 13 (Climate Action) where we have reduced our energy consumption by 12%.
While our company’s environmental and social footprints appear very small in the broad contex, it makes a difference when we stand together to create a better world.
