Upgrade of AV Equipment in Meeting Rooms
The Radisson Collection Royal Hotel (formerly SAS Royal Hotel) was designed by architect Arne Jacobsen and completed in 1960 in the heart of Copenhagen. This five-star hotel is the world’s first designer hotel, with all 262 rooms, suites, a restaurant, and 10 first-class meeting rooms impressively furnished, including iconic furniture such as the Egg and Swan chairs, designed by Arne Jacobsen specifically for the hotel.
AV-Huset was responsible for:
- Upgrading the AV equipment in all meeting rooms to ensure modern and efficient solutions
- Reviewing the existing AV equipment to identify reusable components
- Programming, installing and testing the new AV equipment
- Designing and installing an easy-to-clean screen solution in the kitchen for managing guest orders from the restaurant
- Upgrading and adjusting HDMI cables to reduce interference and ensure better quality and transmission speeds for audio and video
The following AV products are included in the solution at Royal Hotel:
- Laser projectors
- 65” and 75” 4K screens
- Control panels
- 32” touch screen in a custom-made stainless-steel housing
