AV-Huset Publishes Sustainability Report for 2025
June 17, 2026AV-Huset has now completed and submitted its sustainability report for 2025 – the annual Communication on Progress (COP) to the UN Global Compact. The report outlines our work within environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters during 2025 and reaffirms our continued commitment to the UN Global Compact and its Ten Principles for responsible business conduct.

Responsible Choices Make a Positive Difference
This year’s report highlights, among other things:
- An overall reduction of almost 28% in our CO2e emissions
- Installation of solar panels on the roof of our office building, now supplying 32% of our annual electricity consumption
- A 16% reduction in electricity consumption and continued initiatives to improve energy efficiency
- Reductions across all seven of our CO2e focus areas
- Our efforts to promote employee wellbeing, diversity, and the lowest sickness absence level recorded to date
- Support for the Danish non-profit organisation Det Starter Med Musikken through the donation of reused AV equipment
- Our continued focus on human rights, anti-corruption, and responsible business practices
As a Danish SME, our approach to sustainability is based on practical and realistic initiatives. For us, sustainability is not about doing everything at once, but about continuously taking concrete steps in the right direction.
We believe that responsible choices and continuous improvements can make a positive difference – for the environment, for people, and for the way we conduct our business.
Sustainability Initiatives in 2025
Every year, we collect data across seven focus areas and calculate our CO2e emissions using the Danish CO2 calculation tool Klimakompasset.
In 2025, we achieved several improvements through realistic initiatives such as:
- Solar panels
- District heating
- Carpooling
- Shorter business flights
- A stricter procurement policy
We have now measured our CO2e emissions using Klimakompasset for four consecutive years and have successfully reduced our emissions every year.
These measurements provide valuable data, enabling us to identify where our efforts can have the greatest impact and assess whether our initiatives are delivering the desired results.
We are pleased with this year’s results and will continue our sustainability journey in the years ahead.
