May 1, 2025Panasonic introduces the VMZ82 laser projector series, now featuring the company’s most energy-efficient LCD projectors to date. These lightweight, portable models offer brightness levels of up to 8,000 lumens.

The VMZ82 delivers sharp, vibrant images even in well-lit spaces. Equipped with Daylight View Basic technology, the projector adjusts image quality based on ambient lighting conditions, ensuring optimal visibility in open, bright meeting rooms and classrooms.
Flexible and User-Friendly Installation
Weighing just 7.4 kg, the compact projector is easy to integrate into a wide range of setups and can project a 100-inch image from 2.35 meters. Its 1.6x optical zoom, V/H lens shift, and Digital Zoom Extender enhance flexibility. Angle Monitor, Grid function, and Curved Screen Correction streamline setup further.
Efficient and Eco-Conscious Design
The VMZ82 Series is designed with sustainability in mind. The plastic used in the projector’s main body contains approximately 59% recycled resin to reduce reliance on virgin plastics. Recyclable cardboard insulation replaces foam in the shipping carton, and unnecessary packaging has been eliminated to cut waste.
An Auto Power On function automatically turns the projector on from standby and begins projection when an input signal is detected. This allows presenters to turn off the projector between sessions without worrying about delays, streamlining daily use and reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
The VMZ82 Series introduces a new scheduling feature, where you can program the projector to perform automated actions, including power on/off, shutter activation, and input selection, at specific times throughout the week. This functionality streamlines operations and optimizes resource management.
The laser light source in the VMZ82 series operates for about 20,000 hours without maintenance. It just requires that the air filter/airways be kept clean.
