Annual Sustainability Report to the UN
August 7, 2024As a member of the UN Global Compact, we are continuously working with the Ten Principles and exploring how we can contribute to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
We continuously evaluate our practices to identify areas for improvement. We ask ourselves how we can achieve greater efficiency, what works well, and what can be reused. For instance, we frequently reconsider the reuse of packaging materials and are always open to suggestions from our team. One of our technicians might suggest carpooling to customer sites to reduce fuel consumption.
Maintaining this mindset is crucial for us. We believe in practical sustainability – implementing measures that make sense and are feasible. However, as a Danish SME, there are times when taking the sustainable route is challenging.
We must acknowledge that we can sometimes make mistakes or become too absorbed in daily operations to prioritize sustainability. Nonetheless, the most important thing is that we take action.
In our annual sustainability report to the UN, we outline the efforts we have made over the past year.

Reduction in CO2 Emissions
We have successfully reduced our CO2 emissions in five out of our eight focus areas, resulting in an overall CO2 reduction of 24% compared to the previous year. Additionally, we have enhanced diversity within the company. The percentage of women has increased from 18% to 25% in 2023, and a woman has also joined our board. We believe that greater diversity within a group promotes more dynamism and openness.

Sustainability at the Top of the Agenda
In addition, it is encouraging to witness a growing commitment to sustainability among manufacturers in the AV industry. We are observing an increasing number of environmentally friendly products being developed, incorporating recyclable components with a strong focus on durability and cost-efficiency. This shift towards sustainable practices is not only a testament to the industry’s innovation but also a necessary step towards a greener future. Now, we can focus on helping our customers make more sustainable choices.

What is the UN Global Compact?
